Take Point Training has appointed four new training facilitators as the company continues to grow.
Terry Reeves joins the business with a wealth of expertise having spent 34 years in the Royal Air Force (RAF). During his career he has held numerous roles, including Senior Training Manager and Team Commander. Terry has a strong focus on behavioural psychology and holds qualifications in conflict management.
Jon Turner has a proven track record of operational and leadership success, gained over many years in the British Army and corporate sector. Jon‘s expertise was forged in specialist intelligence collection and spans logistics, training and capability development. After leaving the military, he spent 12 years working in the corporate sector where he focused on strategic planning and driving business growth.
Former Royal Marine Commando, Dan Fielding, will share his real-world experience working in high-intensity and fast-paced environments across the globe. Dan completed the selection process in 1997 and was deployed on multiple tours during an 11-year career. After completing his military service, Dan pursued his passion for sailing and retrained to become a Yachtmaster Instructor and sailing expedition leader.
Take Point Training has also appointed David Renton, who has joined forces with the company following a high-flying career in the Royal Air Force. An experienced trainer with strong mentoring and leadership skills, David is passionate about empowering leaders and their teams.
Take Point Training is a fast-growing provider of bespoke, high-impact training solutions. The company works with clients across a range of sectors, including health and social care, education, logistics and construction.
The firm also supports frontline NHS health workers with a pioneering employee training programme in response to the pressures of the COVID-19 pandemic.
With a team of 27 employees including former pilots, medics and marines, the Take Point Training team transfer their military-honed leadership and teamwork skills to organisations across the UK. Training programmes are not bootcamp-style exercises, but focus on experiential and behavioural learning to make training more enjoyable and effective.
Take Point Training Founder and CEO Shaun Pascoe launched the company following his 16 years’ service in the RAF.
Commenting on the new appointments, he said: “We are delighted to welcome Terry, John, Dan and David to the team, who will be instrumental in helping us deliver our training programmes to our client partners.
“The Armed Forces train personnel to the highest standards and the qualities and skills they have developed during their careers are highly transferable to the workplace. It's exciting to fuse their experience to help equip employers with the skills they need to build high performing leaders and teams."
