Take Point Training shortlisted for prestigious national award

Take Point Training is proud to announce that we have been shortlisted for a Health Service Journal (HSJ) Partnership Award 2024.
In collaboration with Barts Health NHS Trust in London, the company’s STATT Course has been shortlisted in the category of ‘Best Educational Programme for the NHS’.
The Self, Teams and Team of Teams (STATT) Course is a programme for health professionals focused on wellbeing, enhancing leadership capability and team cohesion.
The HSJ Partnership Awards recognises outstanding contributions to improving healthcare and effective collaboration with the NHS. Now in its seventh year, 228 entries have been received for this year’s Partnership Awards, with Take Point Training among the projects and individuals included in the final shortlist.
Initially developed for NHS healthcare professionals during the coronavirus pandemic, The STATT Course uses proven leadership and teamwork principles taken from the military. The 3-day programme covers themes to help front-line health professionals adapt in the face of challenge, adversity and setbacks.
The course is being delivered to an ever-growing number of corporate clients and hospitals across the UK, including Barts Health NHS Trust in London, where more than 600 employees have benefited from the programme.

Stephen Marcus, Head of Learning at Take Point Training, said:
“Being shortlisted for the HSJ Partnership Awards 2024 is extremely exciting and I am thankful for the recognition of the programmes impact, the foresight and ambition of our partners Barts Health NHS Trust, and the hard work of our teams in delivering this successful programme.
“To share the stage with such amazing partnership projects is truly humbling for us, it’s an honour and we are proud to have the opportunity to share our success with our colleagues at Barts Health NHS Trust, and to be able to play a key role in supporting health professionals across the UK.
HSJ editor Alastair McLellan, added; “It always gives me great pleasure to congratulate our finalists at this stage of the judging process and this year is no exception as we acknowledge Take Point Training for being shortlisted in the category of Best Educational Programme for the NHS’.
“The calibre of entries left our panel of expert judges with some tough decisions to deliberate over. However, it’s always important to remember that the HSJ Partnership Awards are not just a celebration of success stories, but also a platform to shape the future collaboration within the NHS. We can’t wait to welcome our finalists to the awards ceremony in March and to recognise and applaud such impressive achievements across the sector.”
Winners will be announced at an official awards ceremony on Thursday 21 March 2024.
