Founder & Business Owner

During his 16-year career in the RAF, Squadron Leader (Rtd) Shaun Pascoe served on operational tours in Kosovo, Sierra Leone, Iraq and Afghanistan.

He led a medical emergency response team (MERT) that provided critical care to injured troops during helicopter transports to military bases. The team often operated under austere and challenging conditions while significantly advancing the field of combat medicine.

After completing his military service, Shaun used his extensive experience in effective leadership and teamwork to establish Take Point Training in 2019, to help people and organisations excel in their mission.

Shaun is also the founder of a sailing charity that helps military veterans with physical injuries and mental trauma. Turn to Starboard has helped hundreds of military personnel re-integrate into civilian life while opening doors to new careers in the marine industry.

Shaun's charity work has received recognition, including being presented with The Henry Worsley Award by HRH Prince Harry and Meghan Markle for his achievements in supporting veterans.

Outside of work, Shaun is an accomplished sailor and holds a Royal Yachting Association (RYA) Yachtmaster Instructor qualification and is co-owner of the yacht charter company sailcornwall.com.
