Andrew ('Scotty') is a Lead Facilitator at Take Point Training, delivering a wide range of training modules.

Before joining Take Point Training, Andrew served in the RAF as a sniper team commander/instructor. During his service he was also a Joint Terminal Attack Controller with the Special Forces Support Group and ISTAR Deputy Programmer and Operations Manager with the Special Boat Service (SBS).

Andrew’s qualifications include a BSc (Hon) in Business Management, Diploma in Management and Leadership, Coaching Mentoring in Management, Prince2 Practitioner in Project Management and a Human Factors Facilitator.

What leadership means to Andrew:
“To me it’s about three things. Adaptability, Humility and Integrity. Leadership is a journey that, for those that choose to travel it, is a constant challenge. When you think you’ve mastered it, things change. Whether that be the team, environment, or culture. The challenge of good leadership is to adapt quickly and continue to provide clear intent, create a space that will allow your team to grow and deliver and when they do, stand beside them. If they fail, stand at the front. If you leave work every day with your integrity intact you will be leading that team to success.”
